Dark Shadows
Directed by Tim Burton and starring his favourite actor, Johnny Depp, this is a remake of an old 1970's tv series about a vampire called Barnabus Collins who wakes up in a world gone mad. Initially I was excited. I'm a massive Tim Burton fan and Johnny Depp, well, they kind of go hand in hand. I also love vampire movies and am a little sick of the sparkly, teenage drool machine vampires that are currently in cinemas. They get kind of old and tend to rehash too much of what they've done before.
Then I saw a picture of Johnny Depp in the guise of Barnabus Collins, and I got worried.
He almost looks like a cartoon to me which is kind of weird. But I thought, I'll wait to see the trailer.
Then I watched the trailer.
Yes, I'm still worried. This just looks a little too kitsch for my liking, but, being Burton, I will give it a go.
Tomorrow, the next movie in my Coming Soon excitement series..........The Avengers.

More importantly, Johnny Dep is hot but that get-up is not! What a waste! ;)
Yes...I'm not sure about this one either. Will have to wait and see!
